1. When will VIP Play stop operating?
VIP Play will continue accepting wagers on events that settle on or before May 10, 2026. The last day to place a wager or make a deposit is April 30, 2026. After May 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST, all accounts will be closed and the platform will no longer be accessible.
2. Can I still place bets before the shutdown?
Yes. You can continue placing wagers on any available market that settles on or before May 10, 2026. The last day to place a wager is April 30, 2026. Wagers on futures or events settling after May 10 are no longer available.
3. Why is VIP Play shutting down?
VIP Play has made a business decision to cease sports wagering operations in the State of Tennessee. We are focused on ensuring a smooth and secure transition for all customers, including the full return of all account balances.
4. What happens to my open bets?
• Bets that settle on or before May 10, 2026 will be paid out as normal.
• Futures or bets settling after May 10, 2026 will be voided and your original cash stake will be refunded in full.
5. What happens if I used a bonus bet on a future wager?
If a bonus bet was used on a wager that settles after May 10, 2026:
• The wager will be voided.
• An equivalent bonus bet credit will be returned to your account.
• You may use the returned bonus bet on any available market settling on or before May 10, 2026.
• Any unused bonus bets at closure will expire and will not be converted to cash.
6. What happens if an event is postponed past May 10?
If a postponement pushes the settlement date of your bet beyond May 10, 2026, the bet will be voided and your original cash stake will be refunded in full.
7. What happens to my account balance?
All customers should withdraw their full balance before May 10, 2026. Electronic withdrawal methods are available throughout the wind-down period. After May 10, any remaining balance will be mailed to your registered address via paper check.
8. How do I withdraw my funds?
You can withdraw your balance at any time using one of the following electronic methods:
• AeroPay (ACH bank transfer)
• WorldPay (debit card credit)
• Sightline (Play+)
To withdraw, open the VIP Play app, go to the Funds section, and select your preferred method. If you need help setting up a withdrawal method, please contact our support team.
9. Can I get a paper check instead?
Paper check withdrawals are not available during the wind-down period. We strongly encourage you to withdraw your balance using one of the three electronic methods listed above. If you have not withdrawn your balance by May 10, 2026, a paper check for your remaining balance will be mailed to the address on file with your account.
10. What happens if I don’t withdraw my balance by May 10?
After May 10, 2026, VIP Play will mail a paper check for your remaining balance to the registered address on your account. If the check is not cashed within 30 days, the funds will be treated as unclaimed property and remitted to the Tennessee State Treasurer in accordance with applicable law.
11. Can I still deposit funds?
Deposits are available through April 30, 2026. After this date, deposits will no longer be accepted. We recommend only depositing what you intend to wager before closure.
12. Can I still use my bonus bets or promotions?
Yes. All bonus bets and promotional credits must be used before May 10, 2026, or they will expire. Unused bonus bets will not be converted to cash. The Welcome Bonus promotion is no longer available, and new account registrations are no longer being accepted.
13. Will promotions continue until closure?
Select promotions will continue leading up to closure but may be limited or modified as we approach May 10, 2026. The Welcome Bonus is no longer available. Please check the Promotions section of the app for current offers.
14. What happens to pending withdrawals?
All pending withdrawals submitted before May 10, 2026 will be processed as normal.
15. Is my money safe?
Yes. All customer funds are secure and fully segregated from VIP Play’s operational funds. Your balance is fully accessible and withdrawable via AeroPay, WorldPay, or Sightline at any time through May 10, 2026.
16. What happens to my account after May 10?
After May 10, 2026:
• Wagering and deposit access will be permanently disabled.
• All accounts will be formally closed.
• Any remaining balances will be returned via paper check.
• Customer support will remain available to assist with account questions and balance inquiries.
17. Can I reopen my account later?
No. As part of the shutdown, all Tennessee accounts will be permanently closed.
18. Will customer support still be available?
Yes. Customer support will remain available throughout the closure period and for a reasonable period afterward to assist with withdrawals, account questions, bet settlement inquiries, and any other concerns. You can reach us via in-app chat or by emailing [email protected].
19. Will I receive tax documents for my activity?
Yes. Any required tax documents (such as W-2G forms) will be provided in accordance with applicable IRS regulations for the 2026 calendar year.
20. What if I’m currently self-excluded or on a cool-off period?
If you are currently self-excluded or on a cool-off period and have a remaining balance, you will not need to take any action. After May 10, 2026, VIP Play will mail a paper check for your remaining balance to the address on file with your account.
21. Will I be notified about the closure?
Yes. VIP Play will send multiple notifications via email, in-app push notifications, and lobby banners leading up to the closure date, including reminders to withdraw your balance.
