VIP Play Bet Offerings
In this article, we will walk you through all of the VIP Play bet offerings that are placed within the Bet Slip.
Point Spread
The point spread, often just called the “spread,” is a popular way to bet on sports. It represents the number of points the favored team must win by to “cover the spread.” These bets are typically offered at 11-to-10 odds.
For example, if you bet on the Titans -7, they must win by more than 7 points for your bet to win. If you bet on the Jaguars +7, they must either win outright or lose by fewer than 7 points. If the Titans win by exactly 7, the bet results in a push, and all wagers are refunded.
With standard -110 odds, you would need to bet $11 to win $10 (for a total payout of $21) or $110 to win $100 (for a total payout of $210).
Moneyline
A moneyline bet is simply a wager on which team will win the game outright, with no point spread involved.
For example, if the Titans have a moneyline of -300, you would need to bet $300 to win $100 (or $30 to win $10). If the Jaguars have a moneyline of +260, a $100 bet would win $260 (or a $10 bet would win $26).
Totals (Over/Under)
A totals bet, also known as an over/under bet, is a wager on the combined number of points scored by both teams in a game.
• Over: You win if the total points scored is higher than the predetermined number.
• Under: You win if the total points scored is lower than the predetermined number.
Parlay
Parlay – A single bet that links together two or more wagers; to win the bet, you must win all the wagers in the parlay. If you lose one wager, you lose the entire bet. However, if you win all the wagers in the parlay, they win a higher payoff than if you had placed the bets separately.
It is possible to include one or several matches as ‘bankers’ which means that the selected matches/events will be included in all wagers placed via the VIP Play bet slip with such designated “banker” coupons.
2 teams parlayed together is called a Double.
3 teams parlayed together is called a Treble.
4 teams parlayed together is called a Fourfold (5, 6, 7, etc. + are called fivefolds, sixfolds, sevenfolds…)
Same Game Parlay
A same game parlay allows you to combine multiple bets from a single game or related events into one wager. This increases potential payouts compared to placing each bet separately.
You can also designate certain selections as “bankers,” meaning they are included in all of your wagers within the same game parlay slip.
Round Robin
A round robin is a way to place multiple parlays at once, combining different selections into smaller groups of bets.
For example, a 3-team round robin includes four total wagers: three 2-team parlays (A+B, A+C, B+C) and one 3-team parlay (A+B+C).
There are also specific round robin bet types:
• Trixie: 1 treble + 3 doubles from 3 selections.
• Patent: 1 treble + 3 doubles + 3 singles from 3 selections.
• Yankee: 1 fourfold + 4 trebles + 6 doubles from 4 selections.
• Canadian (Super Yankee): 1 fivefold + 5 fourfolds + 10 trebles + 10 doubles from 5 selections.
• Heinz: 1 sixfold + 6 fivefolds + 15 fourfolds + 20 trebles + 15 doubles from 6 selections.
• Super Heinz: 1 sevenfold + 7 sixfolds + 21 fivefolds + 35 fourfolds + 35 trebles + 21 doubles from 7 selections.
• Goliath: 1 eightfold + 8 sevenfolds + 28 sixfolds + 56 fivefolds + 70 fourfolds + 56 trebles + 28 doubles from 8 selections.
Teaser
A teaser is a type of parlay bet where you adjust the point spread or total in your favor in exchange for lower odds. While it improves your chances of winning, the potential payout is reduced compared to a standard parlay.
