Live Betting (In-Game Betting):
Live betting, also known as in-game betting, allows you to place wagers on a game while it is in progress. Unlike traditional bets placed before the event starts, live betting lets you react to the action as it unfolds, taking advantage of real-time odds that shift based on game events. You will find the “Live Right Now” button in the top left corner of the home page.
How Live Betting Works:
Once a game begins, VIP Play updates odds and available bets dynamically based on what’s happening in real time. Factors such as scoring plays, injuries, momentum shifts, and game time remaining influence the odds. These odds change rapidly, often within seconds, requiring bettors to make quick decisions.
For example, if an NFL game starts with the Cowboys as -7 favorites but they fall behind early, the live spread may shift to Cowboys -3 or even move in favor of the opposing team. This presents opportunities to bet at adjusted odds based on new game developments.
Types of Live Bets:
Live betting offers various wagering options, including:
• Adjusted Point Spread & Moneyline: The spread and moneyline change based on live game action. If an underdog starts strong, their odds may shorten.
• Totals (Over/Under): The projected total score updates as points are scored or if the pace of play changes.
• Next Play/Drive Outcome: Bet on what will happen on the next play or drive (e.g., touchdown, field goal, punt, turnover).
• Player Props: Wager on an individual player’s performance, such as total yards, touchdowns, or rebounds in basketball.
• Period/Quarter Betting: Bet on who will win a specific quarter or half.
•Exact Score Predictions: Try to predict the exact final score or score at a certain point in the game.
