Authorizing VIP Play to access your phone location is required, as we need to verify that you're currently in one of the jurisdictions that VIP Play is available in (currently Tennessee only) as required by regulation.
If you don't authorize VIP Play to access your phone location, you will NOT be able to use the VIP Play app. NO EXCEPTIONS.
To share your location, tap on ‘Share Location’.
Select ‘Allow While Using App’ to share your location with the VIP Play app while using the app.
Alternatively, you can also share your location with the VIP Play app in the settings menu in your phone.
iOS users :
Tap on the “settings” icon
Scroll down till you see the VIP Play TN app, then tap on it
Tap on “Location”
Select “While Using the App”. This will allow the VIP Play app to access your location while using the app only.
Android users :
Open your phone's settings app.
Look for "Location," "Privacy," or "Security" in the settings menu, depending on your device.
You can typically find "App permissions" or "Location app permissions" within the location settings
For each app, you can choose from options like:
Always Allow: The app can access location at any time.
While Using the App: The app can access location only when it's open.
Ask Each Time: The app will ask for permission each time it tries to access location.
Deny: The app will never be able to access location.
Select “While Using the App”. This will allow the VIP Play app to access your location while using the app only.
